1. The service
Social Planner lets you upload short-form video and images, write captions, schedule a
publication time, and have that content published automatically to the Instagram, TikTok
and YouTube accounts you have connected. Publishing happens through those platforms'
official APIs.
We may add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what the service
does, we will tell you.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to hold an account on each platform you connect.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account.
- Tell us promptly at support@germanwithlevels.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
- Accounts are for the person or organisation they were issued to. Don't share your credentials.
3. Connected social accounts
You may only connect accounts you own or are authorised to manage. By connecting one,
you instruct us to publish the content you schedule to it on your behalf, and you
confirm you have the rights needed to do so.
You can disconnect any account at any time from the Accounts page, which erases the
credentials we hold for it. Disconnecting does not remove posts that have already gone
live — delete those on the platform itself.
4. Your content
Your media and captions stay yours. We claim no ownership of them.
You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, reproduce and
transmit your content strictly for the purpose of operating the service — that is,
keeping it until its scheduled time, generating a preview thumbnail, and delivering it
to the platforms you selected. The licence ends when you delete the content, apart from
copies already delivered to those platforms.
You are responsible for your content, including holding the rights to any music,
footage, images and trademarks in it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Social Planner to:
- publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or that infringes anyone's rights;
- publish spam, bulk or automated content designed to manipulate a platform's systems, or to operate accounts you do not control;
- circumvent the rate limits, publishing rules or review requirements of Instagram, TikTok or YouTube;
- reverse-engineer, probe, overload or interfere with the service or its infrastructure;
- upload malware, or use the media storage as a general-purpose file host.
7. Availability and early access
Social Planner is offered during an early-access period. We aim for scheduled posts to
publish on time, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we give no
guaranteed uptime or delivery window. Maintenance, provider outages, expired platform
tokens and API changes can all delay or prevent a post.
Treat Social Planner as a convenience, not as the only copy of your content: keep your
own originals.
8. Fees
The service is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid plans, we will
give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any charge applies to your account,
and you may stop using the service instead.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Social Planner and request deletion of your data at any time — see
How to delete your data.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that puts the service
or another user at risk, or where a platform requires it. Except in urgent cases we will
give you notice and a chance to put things right.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”
and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or
implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not
warrant that the service will be error-free, or that any given post will publish.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or
consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost audience, lost revenue or lost data
arising from your use of the service — including a post that failed to publish,
published late, or published with the wrong content.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by
negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where
liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the greater of the
amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or EUR 100.
12. Our intellectual property
The Social Planner software, design, name and logo belong to German with Levels. These
terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service — not
the right to copy, resell or redistribute it.
13. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in the
Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page always shows the current
version, and we will notify you by email of material changes before they take effect.
Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its
conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory
laws of your country of residence, and may bring proceedings there. Otherwise the courts
of Berlin, Germany have jurisdiction.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
